One team covering three nations
Hiab Haulage is a HIAB transport company based on New Street in Miles Platting, Manchester. Each of our lorries carries its own lorry mounted lifting arm, so the vehicle that collects your load is the same one that lifts it off at the other end, with one trained driver looking after the whole job.
Manchester is where our lorries are based, but the work reaches every corner of Great Britain. Our drivers set cabins onto sites in Wales, deliver glamping pods into the Scottish Highlands, drop steel at projects in the South and move machinery between factories in the Midlands and Yorkshire.

Whether the delivery point is in Glasgow, Cardiff or Kent, the steps are the same. We ask the questions first so the right vehicle arrives and the lift runs smoothly.

We plan the lift
We look at the load, the route and the delivery point, then match the vehicle to the job.
Booking confirmed
Once the plan is agreed, we book the lorry and confirm the date with you.

Our driver lifts the load off and sets it down exactly where you want it.

Vehicles matched to the load and the site
Our fleet covers rigid HIABs, wagon and drag HIABs, artic HIABs, low loaders, extendable trailers, and articulated flatbeds. That range means a quiet country lane, a busy city street and a large construction site can each get the vehicle that suits them.
Our drivers hold CPCS cards and work to ALLMI guidance, and our fleet is FORS Bronze accredited. Regular customers in any region can open a trade account for one monthly invoice, with every job still priced on its own.

Which areas does your HIAB haulage UK service cover?
We cover England, Scotland and Wales from our base in Manchester. Choose your region on this page, or send us the collection and delivery addresses and we will plan the run.
Is the service the same outside the North West?
Yes. Every job is planned in the same way, with the same vehicles and the same trained drivers, wherever the delivery point is.
Can you collect in one region and deliver in another?
Yes. Many of our jobs start in one part of the country and finish in another. Tell us both addresses and we will plan the route and the lift as one job.
How do I get a price for a job in my area?
Use the quote form and add up to four photos of the delivery point, or email us the details. Enquiries are still answered when the office is closed.
