Hiab Haulage is a Manchester based HIAB company that moves glamping pods, timber cabins and garden rooms to holiday parks, campsites, farms, estates and private homes across Great Britain. The lorry carries its own lifting arm, so your pod is collected, carried and lowered onto its base in one visit.
We work with pod builders, holiday park owners, farm diversification projects and private buyers. Many of our pod customers are manufacturers who need finished units taken to their customers week after week, while others are moving a single cabin to a new spot.

Getting your pod onto its base
Every lift is planned before the vehicle is booked. We look at the size of the pod, the route into your site and the spot where the lorry will set up, so the driver can position the vehicle, set the stabilisers on firm ground and lower the pod gently into place.
It helps to send us:
- The pod size and the maker's collection address
- Photos of the prepared base and the hard standing beside it
- The access route, including gates, tracks and any overhead cables
- Any trees or features close to the base

Glamping pod delivery for one pod or a whole site
Single pods travel on rigid HIABs, while wagon and drag HIABs and artic HIABs with trailers carry several pods at once. That makes it simple for builders to deliver a full set of units to a new holiday site in one planned run.

Glamping pod questions
How does glamping pod delivery by HIAB work?
The lorry collects the finished pod, carries it to your site and its lorry mounted lifting arm lowers it onto the prepared base. One vehicle and one trained driver handle the whole job.
Can you move several pods in one trip?
Yes. Wagon and drag HIABs and trailers can carry several pods together, which helps when a manufacturer is delivering a whole site at once.
Do you deliver timber cabins as well as pods?
Yes. Timber cabin delivery follows the same planned process, from the workshop to the base on site.
What should the base and access be like?
The pod needs a level, prepared base, and the lorry needs a firm, hard standing spot close by, such as a track, yard or car park. Photos of both help us plan the lift.
Can you collect a pod and move it to a new site?
Yes. We collect pods from one site and deliver them to another anywhere in England, Scotland and Wales.
