Glamping pods and timber cabins
Pods collected from the maker and lowered onto prepared bases at holiday parks and rural sites.

Scotland
Glamping pods for the Highlands, cabins for city sites and plant for industrial estates, carried north and lifted into place by the same lorry and driver.
The lorry at the top of this page is carrying a glamping pod on a run from Wrexham to Inverness. It is a good example of how a Scottish job works from beginning to end.
First, we talk to the customer about the pod, the collection point and the site where it will sit. We ask how the lorry gets in, where the base is and whether there are cables or trees close by. With that agreed, the vehicle is booked and a delivery window is set.
On the day, our driver lifts the pod onto the bed at the maker's yard, secures it for the journey and carries it north. At the site the stabilisers go down, the pod is lifted off and it is lowered onto its base, ready for the owner to connect up.
That same pattern applies whether the load is a pod, a site cabin, a container or a piece of machinery.

Long Scottish runs are planned around the route as much as the lift. We choose the vehicle to suit the load, fit wide load boards where a load calls for them and time the journey so the lorry arrives within the agreed window. Artic HIABs, rigid HIABs and wagon and drag combinations all make the trip regularly.

Our Scottish work runs from the busy central belt to the far north. In Glasgow and Edinburgh that usually means city centre sites, industrial estates and business parks, with deliveries timed around traffic and site rules. Further north it is more often holiday parks, rural businesses and estate properties, where the access needs careful planning before we book.
The quickest way to help us plan a Scottish job is to send up to four photos of the delivery point with your quote request. Show us the entrance, the route to the drop spot and the place where the load will sit.
These are the jobs we are asked for most often north of the border.
Pods collected from the maker and lowered onto prepared bases at holiday parks and rural sites.
Cabins delivered for new compounds, moved between sites and collected when the job is finished.
Machines collected from factories, yards and dealers, carried north and set down in position.
Shipping containers, storage units and generators placed where you need them.
Glamping pods are finished buildings, often with glazing, cladding and fittings already in place, so they are lifted with the right slings and lowered slowly onto their bases. Where a site is taking several pods, a wagon and drag can carry more than one in a single trip, and the driver sets each one in turn.

Yes. Many of our Scottish jobs start south of the border, such as glamping pods collected in Wrexham and delivered to Inverness. Give us both addresses and we will plan the whole run.
Send us the details through the quote form or by email as early as you can. We plan the lift, agree a delivery window with you and then book the vehicle.
Tell us what needs moving, where it is collected from and where it is going, with a few photos of the site. We will plan the run and send you a price.
