A generator usually needs to sit in an exact spot, on a plinth, in a compound or beside a building. Our lorries carry their own lifting arm, so the driver lifts the unit off and lowers it gently into place, ready for your engineers to connect.

Air handling units, chillers and plant modules
Building services plant is valuable and often wrapped ready for installation. Before the vehicle is booked we ask about the unit, its lifting points and where it needs to land, so the lift is planned and the driver can set up on firm ground.

- Access for the lorry, gates and turning space
- Any overhead cables or scaffolding near the drop
You can add up to four photos to the generator and plant quote form and we will come back with a plan and a price.
Kiosks lifted and landed with care
Kiosks, switchrooms and pump housings sit on prepared bases with fixings that need to line up. Our driver and crew guide each unit down slowly so it lands square and level.
Two HIABs for long frames and big enclosures
Some enclosures, frames and skid mounted units are long or unevenly loaded. For these we can send two HIABs that lift together and keep the unit level as it comes off the trailer. The lift is planned and agreed before either lorry is booked.

Generator and kiosk questions
Why use a HIAB lorry to deliver a generator?
The lorry carries its own lifting arm, so the generator is lifted off and set onto its base by the same vehicle that brought it. You get one booking, one driver and a planned lift.
Do you transport generators and compressors for hire companies?
Yes. We deliver and collect generators, compressors and welfare plant for hire fleets, and can take a unit from one site straight to the next.
Can you deliver kiosks and substations?
Yes. Kiosks, switchrooms, pump stations and other housed equipment are regular loads. Tell us about the unit and the base it sits on and we will plan the lift.
Do you deliver plant room units?
Yes. We deliver air handling units, chillers and plant room modules and set them onto a prepared plinth or base. Send us photos of the delivery point so we can plan the right vehicle.
